Choux Choux Café is a must-stop in Playa del Carmen. Amazing coffee and seriously good breakfast—fresh, flavorful, and done right. Everything tasted high quality and you can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. Perfect spot to start the day, chill atmosphere, and great vibes all around. Would 100% come back.

Food presentation was good. Service was amazing. The food itself was okay. The pancakes taste like premade mini waffles. Very disappointed. The watermelon juice, chocolate croissant, cappuccino, bacon & eggs were good.

Such a wonderful place for breakfast/brunch. We went there everyday during our stay in Playa del Carmen and enjoyed every meal and drinks we had there. Amazing coconut water and kombucha. The decor made you feel like you were in a jungle and the staff was also very friendly.

Please try to go as early as possible because they get busy around 10-11am. We came around 10:15 and we were seated almost right away but menu was not given, and they took our order 30 Minutes later. It can be a little loud because it’s a busy cafe. I ordered latte + el gringo under munchies. The waffle is not bad the whole plate not super satisfied. I was expecting a good omelette but it’s not it. However, my partner ordered York crepe and it was delicious . Their crepe was the best part. He also had the coconut water with cold brew—it wasn’t that bad refreshing:). I would give this place a 3.8. I’ll be back to try other food though thank you

Excellent breakfast experience! The BLT was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The Eggs Benedict were outstanding, with perfectly poached eggs, a rich and delicious hollandaise sauce, and great presentation. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast!

Came here because I was staying right next door wow, what a cool little cafe indoor and outdoor seating, cool environment very inviting very warm vibe. I was greeted immediately and sat down immediately, I decided to sit inside, next time I'll sit outside. Service was great. One person immediately asked me what I wanted to drink. I got me Americana cafe, which was delicious. Another person came after that quickly asked me if I was ready. And had made my decision, I went for the build it yourself plate 2 eggs, bacon, and it comes with a little portion of black beans and some little potatoes, and some little red salsa, all very delicious. The bacon was cooked the way I love it, middle crisp, eggs I ask for medium, they were a perfect medium and the eggs were huge. If you like hot salsa asked for, it, its really good, not too spicy. Lastly, the service was excellent, as I said earlier. But how fast the food came out? Blew me away. This isn't a ding on Mexico, but typically everything's made to order fresh and I'm not saying this place isn't doing that. I'm just saying they were quick, quicker than normal I would expect to wait so great job.

If you want to eat outside of Centro, but not too far away, I highly recommend this lovely French bistro. The service is friendly and the ambience is calm and comfortable. The coffee is excellent. I had a dish called Gringo Frances - I’ll admit, I may have the name a little wrong. Doesn’t matter. Two thick slices of homemade bread, topped with scrambled eggs and bacon, maple syrup. Amazingly delicious!!! Everything was fresh and the flavours were spot-on! There is an onsite bakery. The breads and desserts are worth your attention. Prices are good. Easily, one of the best places I have eaten in Playa del Carmen.
